The City of Excelsior Springs is planning the appointment of the Excelsior Springs Redevelopment Corporation as an urban redevelopment corporation organized under and pursuant to the Urban Redevelopment Corporations Law. The Redevelopment Corporation will be responsible for a Downtown 353 Project Area, which includes properties in the outlined area on above map, declaring the area to be a blighted area and its redevelopment necessary for the preservation of the public peace, prosperity, health, safety, morals and welfare.
In addition to the above downtown project, a 353 Redevelopment Plan for the Royal Hotel property will be considered in the future. Please refer to presentations below for information.
