No OMNI bus service Wednesday, July 30
The city of Excelsior Springs will not be offering bus service next Wednesday, July 30, due to driver training.
Regular routes will resume on Thursday, July 31.
Civic Leadership Award presented to Kenneth Dickey
Excelsior Springs resident Kenneth Dickey, pictured at left, was presented with a Civic Leadership Award from Ambrose Buckman, Excelsior Springs Mayor, and Jan Marcason, President of the Missouri Municipal League, at the West Gate Region Banquet in Independence. Excelsior Springs Hospital and North Kansas City Hospital announce new partnership
The Excelsior Springs Hospital (ESH) has entered into a management agreement with North Kansas City Hospital (NKCH), effective July 1, 2014. NKCH will provide operational oversight to ESH through the employment of current CEO Sally Nance, who has held the position for 24 years.
"The partnership means that our community will have seamless, local access to NKCH's extensive network of specialists and services, and the hospital will have access to their financial and operational expertise," said Nance. NKCH will also provide staffing and employee education to ESH as needed. ESH employees will continue to be employed by ESH. Click here for news release.
