The Highway 69 Walk Trail was extended from 69 Highway and Wornall around the corner of Tiger Drive and along Wornall Road west to Crown Hill Road.

The Fishing River Linear Walk Trail was rebuilt in 2008.

Century Park is being developed at the corner of Wornall Road and Tiger Drive. Amenities at the park will include a parking lot, play equipment, two gazebos with picnic tables and grills. An amphitheatre is planned for the future. The lake will be restocked and will become a catch and release fishing lake. Plans are to eventually add a multi-purpose trail around the lake and the park.

The Highway 69 Walk Trail from the Excelsior Springs Hospital will be extended west of the Hospital and connect Joy Street with the walk trail.

Recently completed -- New play equipment has been installed at Paul Craig Park.

The Siloam Mountain Walk Trail project, extending around the Mountain continues.
