Addendum: Clarification on Proposal Page Count Requirements

February 20, 2024

To All Consultants,

In response to several inquiries regarding the page count specifications outlined in our Request for Proposals (RFP), we wish to provide clarification to ensure all parties have a clear understanding of the submission requirements.

It has come to our attention that there is some confusion regarding the maximum page count of 30 pages specified in the RFP. We would like to clarify that the city will accept proposals that consist of 30 pages printed double-sided. This means each leaf (a single sheet of paper) counts as two pages if content is printed on both sides.

Furthermore, we recognize the importance of certain preliminary pages in providing a structured and comprehensive proposal. As such, we would like to specify that the following pages will not be counted towards the 30-page limit:

– Letter of Transmittal
– Title Page
– Divider Pages
– Table of Contents
– Any other similar preliminary or sectional divider pages

Our intention is to allow vendors to maximize the content of their proposals without concern for these necessary but non-content specific pages. We believe this clarification will enable all vendors to present their proposals in a more comprehensive and organized manner.

Should there be any further questions regarding this clarification or any other aspect of the RFP, please do not hesitate to contact me.

We appreciate your interest in contributing to City of Excelsior Springs Comprehensive Update Plan and look forward to reviewing your detailed proposals.

Sincerely,
Shantele Frie
City Planner
