Visitors to the building are struck by the building’s grandeur and unique Mayan-influenced Art Deco detailing from the moment they walk up to the building. This experience continues as they enter the First Floor Entrance Foyer and the all impressive Hall of Springs with its intricate glazed ceramic tile, double-height teal green steel windows, custom light fixtures and one-of-a-kind Water Bar. Overall, the Hall of Waters retains the original spaces and character defining features and materials which provide the building with a good degree of historic integrity. Many of these features are one-of-a-kind, irreplaceable or extremely expensive to replicate today.

Section 4
Existing Interior Conditions Part 1

Section 5
Existing Interior Conditions Part 2

Section 6
Interior Treatment Recommendations Summary, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) Conditions Assessment & Recommendations, Treatment Recommendations and Use, Bibliography, Illustrations

Hall of Waters Schematic Plans
Guide for Future Rehabilitation Projects
Includes public space, staff space, leasable space, mechanical, and storage.

Final Report – Volume 2

Appendix A
Hall of Waters As-Built Diagrams

Appendix B
List of Historic Drawings

Appendix C
Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessment prepared for the State of Missouri by American Osage Consulting, Inc., December, 2012

Appendix D
North Terrace Well Pump Room Structural Report prepared by Structural Engineering Associates, Inc., July, 2012

Appendix E
Hall of Waters Building Steering Committee Meeting Notes

Appendix F
Mineral Well Study, Missouri DNR Letter Regarding Reactivation of Mineral Water Wells, Hall of Waters Pool Renovation Study 2004

Hall of Waters Assessment & Feasibility Study Final Report – Volume 1 – August 1, 2014 Prepared by Susan Richard Johnson & Associates, Inc.
