The City of Excelsior Springs strives to recruit and retain the best possible employees. Our support services team provides internal support to all departments in the form of organization and leadership, building maintenance, finance, risk management and personnel support services. These employees also provide support to the various boards and commissions.<\/p>\n<p>Creating an environment that encourages our coworkers to do their best work requires a number of these ingredients:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Communicating a clear and compelling mission for the City.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Making it clear how each employee contributes to successfully accomplishing the mission.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Supporting and recognizing superior performance (in both tangible and intangible ways).<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Regularly demonstrating that all staff members are valued and appreciated.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Support Services Mission Statement: To Enhance the Quality for All First and foremost, we are a service organization.
