It is not a surprise to hear Excelsior Springs is neighborly, we see examples of kindness all the time.
Won’t You Be My Neighbor Day happens every year on March 20, Mr. Roger’s Birthday. Celebrate this special man and special day by letting your neighbors know that you value them. Deliver a treat, leave a kind note, or do a random act of kindness for a neighbor.
The Neighborhood Engagement Team exists to bring neighbors together through fun events! Please complete the contact form to be placed on the email list for meeting times. We’ll be planning ES Night Out Against Crime, block parties, Flamingo Fridays, Missouri Good Neighbor Week and more! We’ll learn how to connect with our neighbors and make our neighborhoods safe, clean and friendly!

Nominations for the 2025 Most Engaged Neighbor Award are now open! Do you have a neighbor who goes above and beyond to help others? We want to know about that person. We are looking for Missouri’s most engaged neighbors again this year! Each year we are blown away by the neighborliness you tell us about and we can’t wait to hear more. Nominate your most engaged neighbor here.
Celebrate Good Neighbor Week (September 28-October 4) by doing something kind for a senior citizen in your neighborhood! Choose a senior neighbor and let them know it’s Good Neighbor Week and you’d love to do something to brighten their day. Once you have completed your neighborly task, please complete this form and return it to the Wellness Café inside the Excelsior Springs Community Center to receive a free treat! Click here for form.
