Highlights from the Monday evening, April 6, City Council meeting include:
– 353 Tax Abatement approval for 205 N Marietta Street
– Amendment to Chapter 235 prohibiting interference with first responders engaged in the performance of their duties;
– $1,270,000 in streetscape construction projects to complete roadway repairs;
– Zoning amendments that simplify working with Community Development on projects;
– Rezoning the Marocco Estates Subdivision to allow for multi-family housing;
– Rezoning 101 E Broadway to conform with previous use and allow for a duplex;
– Approval of a redevelopment agreement for 409 E Broadway.
